About Zesht

Evidence-based exercises for real results. No woo. No BS. Just science.

🎯 Our Mission

Zesht exists to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical exercise guidance. We believe everyone deserves access to evidence-based information about exercises—whether for cosmetic goals, pain relief, or overall health improvement.

Too much fitness content online is based on anecdotes, influencer opinions, or outdated information. We're changing that by evaluating every exercise against the scientific literature and being transparent about what the evidence actually shows.

🔍 The Problem We Solve

Search for almost any exercise online and you'll find:

  • YouTube videos with impressive before/after photos but no scientific backing
  • Wellness blogs making claims that sound plausible but aren't verified
  • Social media trends that go viral based on aesthetics, not effectiveness
  • Fitness influencers selling programs based on personal experience alone
  • Medical websites that are too technical for practical application

We evaluate each exercise using the same evidence hierarchy used in medical research: systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, and case reports. Then we translate that into clear, actionable guidance.

🔬 Our Approach

1. Research First

Every exercise in our database is researched using PubMed, Google Scholar, PEDro, and Cochrane Library. We search for systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and randomized controlled trials.

2. Transparent Grading

We assign evidence grades from A (meta-analyses supporting effectiveness) to F (contradicted by research). We're honest when evidence is limited—a "D" grade doesn't mean an exercise is bad, just that it lacks scientific verification.

3. Practical Application

Scientific papers don't always translate easily to "how many reps should I do?" We bridge that gap by providing clear instructions, rep ranges, frequency recommendations, and expected timelines.

4. Continuous Updates

Research evolves. We regularly review and update our evidence grades as new studies are published. What's "D" grade today might become "B" grade as more research emerges.

👨‍⚕️ Who We Are

Zesht was founded by a practicing radiologist who was frustrated with the disconnect between medical evidence and popular fitness advice. Reading imaging studies all day, it became clear how much misinformation exists about exercises—especially for facial aesthetics, posture correction, and pain relief.

With a medical background and access to research databases, we apply the same evidence evaluation standards used in clinical medicine to exercise recommendations.

Our commitment: We will never recommend an exercise without disclosing the quality of evidence behind it. When the research is weak, we'll tell you. When something is just "popular on TikTok" with no scientific backing, we'll be honest about that too.
